The Student Crisis Assistance Fund “speaks directly to our values as an institution that is focused on helping students from the time they get here to the time they finish.”
In times of trouble, the Lenoir-Rhyne family responds.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, LR has launched a Giving Tuesday campaign to support the Student Crisis Assistance Fund.
For many students, the path to graduation is not easy. Family emergencies, prolonged illness, loss of housing, or the death of a parent can bring unforeseen bills and financial instability. For these students, completing their degree can seem impossible.
Support the Student Crisis Assistance Fund
The Student Crisis Assistance Fund provides emergency support to students who might otherwise be forced to leave school. With your help, alumni and friends can join together to make a collective impact.
Make your gift today and together we will turn challenges into opportunities and dreams into success.
The eagerness within those who lent a helping hand to get me on track is something I will never forget and stand forever grateful.”—Chisimdiri Oparanozie ’20
For those who have supported the fund, I’m super grateful for you all. Your generosity is a great help and support to us, not only financially, but also knowing that someone cares for us.”—Sophia Chung ’20
$25,000 Matching Gift Challenge
All donations made during this Giving Tuesday campaign will be matched dollar for dollar by an anonymous donor up to $25,000 until 11:59 p.m. on December 3, 2019.

“If the Student Crisis Assistance Fund was no longer available, we would actually lose students. It's really important that we keep this fund going and make sure all our students are part of the Lenoir-Rhyne family.”
