A safe place to live, learn & work

Campus Safety

Campus safety and wellbeing is a community priority and responsibility.

Safety on campus is coordinated by the Office of Public Safety, which is located in Cromer Center. The office provides the following services to the university community.

  • Assist members of the university community in emergency situations while making every effort to provide for their safety
  • Protect LR property and enforces all university traffic rules and regulations
  • Strive to make the campus a safe place to live and work
  • Conduct foot and vehicular patrols of the campus community 24 hours per day, seven days per week

Members of the campus community should always be mindful of your safety and that of others while on- or off-campus and immediately report any suspicious persons or activities to Public Safety.

Annual Security & Fire Safety Report

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, Lenoir-Rhyne University provides an annual report that covers crime statistics, security policies and other related information.
