Religious & Spiritual

Religious and spiritual student clubs provide you with an opportunity to grow or explore your faith and spirituality with fellow students. Groups are open to everyone regardless of faith or beliefs.

  • Campus Bible Studies

    Bible Studies led by the University Pastor and community volunteers help participants delve more deeply into scripture and wrestle with questions about application to daily faith and life. For more information, contact Pastor Todd Cutter at todd.cutter@lr.edu. 

  • LRU Catholic Group

    This group, which meets weekly, provides an opportunity for students who are Catholic to gather for learning, worship, and fellowship.

  • Lutheran Student Group

    Although Lutheran is in the name, this group is for all students and meets weekly for service, fellowship, and learning opportunities. This group is fully welcoming and affirming of the LGBTQIA+ community. 

  • ParaChurch, Evangelical Groups

    These organizations are staffed by employees who are not affiliated with Lenoir-Rhyne, but are invited to be on campus and work with students.

    • Catawba Valley Young Life
      Our Christian ministry reaches out through volunteers, staff, club meetings and camps and builds meaningful relationships in a Christ-centered environment.
    • Fellowship of Christian Athletes
      Our goal is to spread the gospel of Christ, while aiding student-athletes, friends and coaches in deepening faith.
    • InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
      We minister to students and faculty through small group Bible studies, large gatherings, leadership training, thoughtful discipleship and life-changing conferences and events.
