We will continue to offer free testing to our faculty, students and staff. Testing is generally available from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. in McCrorie Center on the Hickory campus and by appointment at the Asheville and Columbia campus locations.
For athletics testing, we will continue to follow the recommendations and requirements of the NCAA and the South Atlantic Conference.
COVID-19 testing available through the athletic training staff in McCrorie Center is offered to students, faculty and staff or if you are symptomatic, have come in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 or if you are just curious. Asheville and Columbia Testing
COVID-19 testing is available by appointment at the Asheville and Columbia campus locations.

- Columbia - Testing is done in the Security Office in Yost building. Students should drop by during office hours or call 828.303.6640 for an appointment.
Publicly Available Testing
Catawba County Public Health (Hickory)
COVID-19 testing is offered on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the back parking lot at Catawba County Public Health. Although it will be the same location, due to state contracting changes, the testing will be offered through Mako Medical and will be PCR tests.
Individuals who wish to receive testing can pre-register for a COVID-19 test. No appointment needed, no cost to the patient, and no ID required.Catawba County Public Health (Hickory)
