Inclement Weather Alert: Two-Hour Delay on Friday, Dec. 5

Due to anticipated inclement weather, Lenoir-Rhyne will operate on a two-hour delay on Friday, Dec. 5. The university will open at 10 a.m., and any classes scheduled to begin before 10 a.m. are canceled.

Faculty are required to provide instruction equivalent to normal class time and are encouraged to minimize class delivery disruption to the greatest extent possible. Faculty can use Zoom for synchronous class meetings and Canvas resources for announcements and asynchronous discussions or alternative assignments to makeup class time. Please communicate directly with your students via email and/or Canvas as soon as possible with your specific plan for the day. For any assistance with technology or pedagogy, please reach out to the Center for Teaching and Learning.

• Please note the dining hall will be open at its regular time.
• Hourly employees will receive additional instructions from Human Resources regarding how to code time in Paycom.
• Please use caution when traveling to campus, and adjust your commute as needed for safety. We will continue to monitor conditions and share any updates should circumstances change.
