Community Health Minor
Make an impact on the health of a community through the power of prevention.
A minor in Community Health takes just six courses (18 credit hours) to achieve. You will learn how environmental, social and behavior factors impact our well-being and how health programming aids the community.
You will also examine the current health care systems and discuss the challenges faced by modern society. Additionally, you will examine the mind and body connection and understand how psychology affects our physical health.
A minor in Public Health is especially valuable for those interested in pursuing a health care career and great preparation for those seeking advanced degrees.
