Join us on campus for your next meeting, presentation or reception.
The Office of Conferences & Events offers a variety of meeting and reception areas with capacity for small and large seminars, meetings, concerts, camps, and workshops. We can accommodate events with anywhere from 10 to 1,360 guests. Catering services are also available, including full service, buffet and casual catering. We also provide an event calendar that you can access in the sidebar.
If your event requires catering contact Aramark at 828.328.7005 to make all necessary arrangements. Aramark needs at least 10 days notice for catering requests. Dining hall plates and utensils must be returned to dining hall after your meeting.
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on campus without prior approval from the Vice President and Dean of Students. The forms may be picked up at the Conferences and Events office.
If your event involves a guest speaker or entertainers of any sort, you are responsible for the actions of your guests. You are also responsible for any contractual requests made by your guests. If your event requires equipment beyond what the college can provide, you are responsible for renting or securing that equipment. You are responsible for fees if excessive cleanup is necessary after your event. Glitter and confetti are prohibited. You must remove all decorations after your event. As a consideration to others, if you change the room arrangement, please return the room to its original condition after your event.
If your event requires an interpreter for deaf or hard-of-hearing guests, please contact Support Services for Deaf & Hard of Hearing at 828.328.7298 or complete the Request for Interpreting Services Form.
