Yer Vang

Yer Vang is the graduate assistant in the Alex Lee Career and Professional Development Center at Lenoir-Rhyne University. In her role as GA, she and the career staff support the career counselor with daily administration operations from employer relations, creating marketing tools for center events to assisting students in various ways. Most importantly, Vang helps students by providing and educating them about various self-marketing tools and practices. She also aids students with job searches, internship opportunities and other professional development activities. In addition, Vang works one-on-one with students to build competitive resumes and conducts mock interviews at request to help students develop their interview skills.

Vang will complete her master's degree in both clinical and school counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne in the spring of 2022 with aspirations of becoming a licensed clinical mental health counselor working with adolescents.
