Keith Leiting has been an associate professor of health, exercise and sport science since 2015. He teaches courses in sport and human performance with specializations in biomechanics, athlete monitoring and strength and conditioning at both the graduate and undergraduate level. He also teaches personal health for undergraduate non-exercise science majors.

Leiting has published articles in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, Journal of Trainology, Journal of Medicine and Science in Sport and Exercise and Strength and Conditioning Journal. Leiting continues to research the kinetics of sport and human performance with an emphasis on rates of force development and impulse.
