Elizabeth Rawlings

The Rev. Elizabeth Rawlings is an ELCA pastor and serves as campus pastor for Lenoir-Rhyne Asheville Center. In addition to her role with LR, she is cultivating a new ELCA community in Asheville: Community of Spiritual Practice.

For more than 20 years, Rawlings has done racial justice work and writes both liturgy and commentary for The Disrupt Worship Project, a liturgical resource that she created for those who wish to engage justice in their sermons and liturgy. She has also been a community organizer, youth worker and served in the outdoor and service industries.

Rawlings lives in Asheville with her husband, Aaron, and their dog, Zelda.
