Dara Swift is a clinical instructor of nursing and director of the nursing lab. She also is a clinical instructor for maternal/child and gerontology studies.

Swift is treasurer of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She also is the faculty representative for Lenoir-Rhyne University's Association of Nursing Students.
