Amanda Smith is senior creative content writer at Lenoir-Rhyne. Since joining the marketing and communications team in August 2022, she has generated copy and content for the university website, "Profile" magazine and other communication channels, sharing the stories of the Lenoir-Rhyne community with the world.

Previously, Smith converted a long career as an educator and writing instructor into a second career as a freelance copywriter and journalist for public and private enterprises. Her varied experiences have included projects for independent publishers, legal support firms, local media outlets, historical societies and educational non-profits.
