Zaniya Parks

Zaniya Parks joined the Lenoir-Rhyne Office of Admission in 2023 as a Bear of Distinction (student tour guide) and now serves as an undergraduate admission counselor. She graduated in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in human services. Parks is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in human services.

  • Interesting facts: Parks was a cheerleader for more than 15 years. While at LR, she served as head captain of the LR Spirit Team during her senior year. “Cheerleading has shaped my love for encouraging others, building strong connections and being a positive role model,” she said.
