Science Communication Minor


Develop your abilities to communicate science to public audiences.

The interdisciplinary minor in Science Communication is available to undergraduate students interested in developing their abilities in communicating about science to public audiences. It is open to students in all undergraduate majors who want to deepen and broaden their knowledge of how citizens make sense of science and technology in their everyday lives. Students take science courses, communication courses and a capstone course that engages students on more advanced topics such as climate change, pandemics and environmental communication. A minor in Science Communication requires 23-26 hours consisting of the following:
