A Vision of Wellness & Community

This center represents a bold step forward in the student experience — bringing recreation, fitness, counseling, and health services together under one roof to create a seamless ecosystem of care. Located at the heart of campus, it will be one of the most visible and engaging spaces for students and visitors alike — an anchor for connection, belonging and community.

This facility will quickly become one of the most utilized and impactful spaces on campus — supporting recruitment, retention and student success. It reflects Lenoir-Rhyne’s mission in action: developing graduates who are not only academically prepared, but physically healthy, emotionally resilient and spiritually grounded.

To bring this vision to life, the Health and Wellness Center will be thoughtfully designed to support every dimension of student well-being. From spaces that promote physical strength and activity to environments that encourage rest, reflection and connection, the center will offer a holistic approach to health that meets students where they are and helps them thrive.
