Entrepreneurship Minor
Learn to create a new business from the ground up through research, evaluating opportunities and creating plans.
While earning a minor in Entrepreneurship, you will sharpen your problem-solving skills, as well as your business acumen.
From identifying and evaluating opportunities, to developing a business model and creating a business plan, our minor in Entrepreneurism will cultivate your innovative spirit.
Our Capstone Experience will mold your skills in creative thinking, strategic planning and business professionalism as you act as a consultant and work to solve problems within a local company or small business.

Minor Requirements
A minor in Entrepreneurship requires eighteen credit hours consisting of
- BUS 349 - Managing the Small Business
- ENT 210 - Introduction to Entrepreneurship
- ENT 321 - Business Incubation
At least 9 hours from the following:- ACC 230 - Accounting for Decision Making
- BUS 300 - Business Communications
- BUS 340 - Business Management
- BUS 344 - Business Finance
- BUS 345 - Human Resource Management
- BUS 360 - Marketing
- BUS 370 - Business Law I
- BUS 426 - Leadership Development
- BUS 450 - Business Policy
- ENT 465 - Entrepreneurial Capstone Experience
- Up to 6 hours of courses in topic related to the student's business idea developed in ENT 321, with approval of program director
