Zaniya Parks

• B.A., Psychology, Lenoir-Rhyne University

Zaniya joined the Lenoir-Rhyne Office of Admission in 2023 as a bear of distinction (student tour guide) and now serves as an undergraduate admission counselor. She graduated in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Human Services. Currently, Zaniya is pursuing a Master of Arts in Human Services. 

Zaniya works with first-year students from the Charlotte, NC area, Northeast states, and New England. Zaniya was a cheerleader for 15+ years. While at LR, she served as the Head Captain on the LR Spirit team her senior year. Cheerleading has shaped my love for encouraging others, building strong connections, and being a positive role model.
