Building Community Together

Belonging & Outreach

The Office of Belonging and Outreach is committed to fostering a welcoming and connected campus where every student feels seen, valued and supported. We create opportunities for students of all backgrounds, experiences and perspectives to build meaningful relationships, engage with the campus community and develop a strong sense of belonging at Lenoir-Rhyne.

Cultural Series Celebrations

Throughout the year, we organize and also co-sponsor many university events to honor and celebrate all on the campus community.

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration
  • Black History Month
  • Hispanic celebrations
  • Native American celebrations
  • Women's History Month
  • Asian Heritage Month

We strive to create an environment that brings out the best in all people and advocate for all. Through various programs, we seek to ensure that all have equal access to the education and resource opportunities available.

Our office oversees various affinity groups and organizations that support and encourage all identities, such as:

  • LR Pride Club
  • African Student Union
  • Black Student Alliance
  • Latin Hispanic Student Alliance
  • Asian Student Association
  • Multicultural Student Ambassadors

All are welcome to be part of any of these organizations and events.
