Kids in College

Engaging children in a university environment through enrichment, exploration and creative thinking

Registration for Kids in College summer 2026 is now open. Experienced STEM teachers will facilitate learning experiences throughout the week of June 15-19, 2026. Kids in College runs 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. each day and lunch and snacks are provided. Space is limited to 200 students, so early registration is encouraged. The cost is $375 for the week.

Experienced science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) teachers will facilitate learning experiences throughout the week. The program is designed for teacher-recommended students who have an interest in STEM, are interested in how things work and enjoy working with their hands to build things.

Both elementary and middle grades camps are available and open to students completing kindergarten through grade 4 (elementary) and those completing grades 5-8 (middle grades). Both camps have a science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) focus. Students will utilize 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity.

This program is designed for teacher-recommended students who meet any of the following criteria:

  • Have an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Are interested in how things work and working with their hands to build things.
  • Recommended by their current teacher.
