    Remote Instruction Continues  – Thursday-Friday, Jan. 29-30

    Remote instruction will continue on Thursday and Friday for Hickory and Asheville locations.

    This decision reflects our ongoing priority to support the safety of our community as weather conditions evolve across the region. By making a decision about Friday now, we aim to provide clarity and allow everyone to plan accordingly.

    Important reminders:

    • Faculty: Continue to communicate directly with students regarding course expectations.

    • Staff: Remain in contact with your supervisors regarding work arrangements.

    We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and care for one another as we navigate these conditions together.

    We will continue to monitor the forecast and will communicate any additional updates as needed.

Culture and politics influence how we engage with the world. Our clubs and groups are open to all students, allowing you to connect with others who share similar beliefs or learn about practices and views that are different from your own.

    ASU is dedicated to unionizing the various Africans on campus and educating the LR students on the various African cultures. 

  • Black Student Alliance (BSA)

    BSA offers you a way to engage in community service while building leadership skills, promoting cultural awareness, encouraging collaboration and fostering growth.

    The Ideology and Civil Discourse Club brings people with differing viewpoints together to learn how to hold conversations on world topics.

    Pacific Islander and Asian Students Involvement Association (PIASIA) aims to provide a means of unification among Asian students and the greater LR community. PIASIA also seeks to spread awareness of Asian culture, traditions and lifestyles.
