Sports Communication Minor
The Sports Communication minor prepares students to understand the dynamic sports industry. Students explore communication-based theories and methods and engage in a critical analysis of sports communication within culture and society. At the same time, students develop hands-on skills relevant to the field. This minor provides an understanding of career paths in sports and builds the skills needed to launch a successful career. A minor in Sports Communication requires 18 hours consisting of the following:

- COM 110 - Media Writing
- COM 269 - Sports Communication
- COM 318 - Social Media Strategy
