Randall Bergman

Randall Bergman arrived at Lenoir-Rhyne in 2012 and serves as coordinator for the Bachelor of Science in Public Health program. His primary teaching assignments in public health are courses on communication, policy and evaluation.
His research interests are centered on health behavior change and evaluation. Bergman is the vice president of the nonprofit Acting Out Against Cancer that his family started after his father was diagnosed with glioblastoma in 2020.
Prior to his time at LR, he taught at Missouri Western State University and Kentucky Wesleyan College. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, playing basketball, fishing, competing in mud runs and coaching his sons.
