Mary Hancock

• B.S., French and International Relations, Lenoir-Rhyne University

Mary Hancock joined Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2026 as the Accessibility Services Coordinator. She supports the Office of Accessibility through administrative, testing and operational services that promote an accessible and inclusive campus.

A retired Catawba County Schools educator, Hancock brings extensive experience serving diverse student populations. As a lead ESL teacher, she provided instructional leadership, collaborated with faculty and staff and championed programs that supported student achievement and success.

Hancock is committed to supporting students' academic and personal growth while fostering a culture of belonging, respect and pride within the LR Bear family.
