Sports Studies Minor


Apply your lifelong love of athletics to a minor in Sports Studies. Learn about coaching, health, law and more.

If you have always been interested in athletics, consider applying your interest to a minor in sports studies. You will learn about the role sports play in our culture and the impact it has on our society. Coursework includes the study of coaching principles, first aid/emergency care, psychology of sport and physical activity, sport in society, sports law and critical issues in sport.

Our minor in sports studies is an excellent complement to a major in education, marketing, entrepreneurship, exercise science and community health.
