New campus signage project underway at Lenoir-Rhyne

Lenoir-Rhyne University is excited to announce a significant campus improvement project: a comprehensive sign and wayfinding system. This project, funded by the recent bond issuance, aims to enhance the campus experience for students, faculty, staff and visitors.

The new signage will feature a modern, consistent design that reflects the University's brand identity. The project includes building signs and wayfinding signs for pedestrians and vehicular traffic. The building signs will feature specific addresses to aid both visitors and emergency responders. The wayfinding system will be designed to guide visitors and residents through the campus efficiently and intuitively.

LR partnered on the project with APCO Signs, a leading sign provider in the United States, to bring this vision to life. APCO’s expertise in design, fabrication and installation has ensured a high-quality solution that provides flexibility for the future.

"We believe this new signage and wayfinding system will significantly improve the overall campus experience," said Cat Serrin Niekro, vice president of advancement at Lenoir-Rhyne University. "It will not only enhance the aesthetics of the campus but also make it easier for everyone to navigate."

The project is expected to be completed by mid-November.
