Harry L. Titus Jr., Ed.D., serves as vice president for student experience and dean of students at Lenoir-Rhyne. As a member of the President’s Cabinet, he provides strategic leadership for the Division of Student Experience, overseeing areas that support student engagement, support and wellbeing, and belonging and retention. His work focuses on creating meaningful opportunities that help students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

Since joining Lenoir-Rhyne in 2023, Titus has helped strengthen student support systems, enhance the residential experience and advance initiatives that promote student success and persistence. He works collaboratively with campus partners to foster a culture of care, connection and engagement that enriches the overall student experience.

Prior to Lenoir-Rhyne, Titus held leadership positions at Coastal Carolina University focused on student advocacy, assessment, housing and food insecurity, and crisis management. Titus also held roles within the Dean of Students Office at Elon University. A first-generation college graduate, he remains actively involved in national higher education organizations, regularly presenting on leadership, student success and organizational culture.
