LR recognizes special group of seniors in commencement ceremonies
The first week in May, Lenoir-Rhyne University will hold in-person commencement ceremonies recognizing the classes of 2020 and 2021.
"Being able to recognize our graduating seniors with a dedicated, in-person ceremony in a safe manner is important to us, and we are happy to be able to honor them in this way," said Lenoir-Rhyne President Dr. Fred Whitt. "They've worked tremendously hard for this achievement. Our Class of 2020 graduates, in particular, have been patient and understanding given the restrictions of the pandemic, and we are finally able to celebrate them."
Named Charlotte Mecklenburg and North Carolina School Counselor of the Year, Mena uses her background in mental health and education to strengthen student success and family engagement.
