• Winter Weather Updates

    We are monitoring a winter weather system that will impact university operations this weekend and into early next week. 

    • STATUS: All three campuses will close on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m. due to forecasted snow, ice and sleet. Campuses will remain closed through Monday, Jan. 26, with remote work and remote instruction on Monday. Essential operations will continue during the closure. NOTE: LR will operate under normal university operations on Friday, Jan. 23.
    • FACILITIES (Hickory): The library and fitness center will be closed Saturday through Monday. The Cromer Center dining hall is expected to operate on a normal schedule unless otherwise communicated.
    • RECEIVE UPDATES: Check LR email and the LR website for official university updates.
    • STAY CONNECTED: If you haven't already, download and enable notifications for the SafeZone app for timely safety alerts and campus information.

    Storm Updates

Walk of Honor

Order a personalized brick to be included in the Walk of Honor.

  • Bricks may be ordered with a gift of $250, which helps support The Fund for Lenoir-Rhyne, LRU's primary source for funding student needs, scholarships and financial assistance.
  • Graduating seniors have the opportunity to name a brick at a discounted rate of $150 if ordered before December 31, 2025 of their graduating academic year. Bricks ordered will be installed by Homecoming 2026.
  • Alumni who are celebrating milestone reunions this year (1975, 1985, 2000 and 2015) are able to name a brick for $150 if ordered before December 31, 2025. Bricks ordered will be installed by Homecoming 2026.
  • Bricks ordered prior to August 1 will be installed by Homecoming of that year.
  • Purchase bricks by check or credit card using the enclosing form.
  • Each brick can include the wording "In Memory of, In Honor of, or Given by..." before the inscription if specified on the order form.
  • LRU reserves the right of final approval for each brick's wording.
