Guided by the university’s strategic plan, Shine Ever Brighter, these transformational projects reflect LR’s commitment to creating a campus that is welcoming, student-centered and prepared for the future. Together, they strengthen recruitment and retention, support academic and co-curricular excellence, and ensure that our physical campus reflects the quality and care of the LR experience.

Cromer Center Renovation
Reimagining the Heart of Student Life
The renovation of Cromer Center will preserve the history and spirit of this beloved building while creating a more welcoming, modern and flexible hub for student engagement.

First-Year Residence Hall
Creating a Strong Start
A student’s first residential experience plays a vital role in their transition to college and their sense of belonging. The new first-year residence hall will provide modern living spaces intentionally designed to foster connection, support and community among incoming students.

Health & Wellness Center
Supporting the Whole Student
The new Health and Wellness Center will serve as a destination for recreation, fitness, student health, counseling and well-being. Designed to support the whole student, the facility will foster connection, resilience and lifelong wellness while providing resources that help students thrive academically, physically and personally.

Morgan Hall Renovation
Renewing a Core Residential Experience
Morgan Hall has long been an important part of residential life at Lenoir- Rhyne. Planned renovations will modernize the facility while enhancing comfort, functionality and community spaces for students.
