Congratulations! You’ve been selected to attend Discover LR, an exclusive virtual event at Lenoir-Rhyne. COVID-19 has changed our lives in ways we could have never expected. Keeping in mind the safety and health of you and your loved ones, this event is offered as a virtual visit where you will have the opportunity to:

• Engage with faculty members
• Connect with students and hear about their experiences
• Participate in a virtual tour of campus and residence halls

Join Lenoir-Rhyne Office of Admission to learn about the university admission process, financial aid and academics. Hear from current LR students through a virtual student panel. This event will help high school seniors who are beginning the college search process.

Experience LR — Open House

Explore the programs and opportunities LR has to offer, including a virtual campus tour. Students and families will learn more about student life, financial aid and academics, hearing from LR students, faculty and staff. These events will help seniors who are beginning the college search process.

Lenoir-Rhyne’s Red & Black Day is designed to provide accepted students and their families a personalized opportunity to discover more about the exceptional experience that LR offers. We recognize your potential and want you to choose Lenoir-Rhyne for your higher education journey. At our Red & Black Day, students have the opportunity to:

• Tour our campus and residence halls
• Hear from current students about their experiences at LR
• Meet our enrollment management team to review their financial aid award
• Engage with faculty and staff members

We are excited that you are joining the Bear family. In addition to your virtual orientation, all students are required to attend LR’s virtual Bear Day.

Bear Day will provide an opportunity for students to meet with a faculty member to register for first semester coursework and have any final questions by a member of our enrollment team. Bear Day will be on Friday, December 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

The Charge: New Student Orientation will be in a virtual format. Your virtual New Student Orientation will become available Friday, January 1.

During our virtual program, students will have the opportunity to:

• Learn what it means to be a member of the LR Bear family
• Connect with campus resources
• Engage and build relationships with other incoming students
