Erin Jeffords joined the faculty at Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2018 as an adjunct professor teaching various labs and courses. In 2022, Jeffords joined the university as an assistant professor in the occupational therapy department.

As a clinician and educator, Jeffords has more than 14 years of experience in occupational therapy in rehabilitation and community-based practice settings and is a certified brain injury therapist.  

Her recent work as a clinician includes working on the home modification grant through Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in for SC Uplift. Jeffords is also currently enrolled in a post professional doctorate program at Thomas Jefferson University where she is researching and developing a program to train volunteers to implement home safety screens. She is a community advocate for fall prevention speaking and educating older adults as well as an avid participant of Meals on Wheels.  

Jeffords currently resides in Columbia, SC, where she enjoys time with her husband and two children.
