Connor Hone

Connor Hone joined the Lenoir-Rhyne undergraduate admission team in July 2025, bringing with him a strong background in athletics, leadership and hospitality. As a student at Keiser University, Hone served as a quarterback for the football program and was part of the team that won the NAIA national championship in 2023.

Connors' North Carolina counties include Alamance, Caswell, Durham, Franklin, Granville, Orange, Person, Rockingham, Stokes and Vance. Hones' travel territory includes all of the previously mentioned North Carolina counties, as well as Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Florida and Texas. Additionally, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and West Virginia fall within his responsibilities.

His experience as a student-athlete and in fast-paced service environments taught him the value of communication, discipline and building genuine relationships, qualities he brings to every interaction with students and families.

Interesting fact: He served as class president in both sixth and ninth grade.

What I love about LR: In my short time here, I’ve found that Hickory is a great town with a strong connection to the university. The people are welcoming, and the mix of all four seasons makes it easy to enjoy everything the area has going on throughout the year.
