Beth Wright

Beth Wright is a student support and outreach specialist at Lenoir-Rhyne. Wright retired as an associate professor of sociology in August 2023. She has professor emerita status and was the 2014 Raymond Morris Bost Distinguished Professor. 

From 2019-2023, Wright served half-time as a faculty fellow in the former office of student success, where she assisted students with academic planning and success.

After retiring from the classroom, she continues to focus on equity and social justice by supporting students and the university community.

Outside of her work at LR, Wright is a pet lover and avid walker who enjoys kayaking and tubing.
