Alicia Brindle

Alicia Brindle has served as an assistant professor in the Master of Occupational Therapy program at Lenoir-Rhyne University since 2025. In addition to teaching, Brindle serves as the faculty adviser for the Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) social committee.

Before joining the faculty at Lenoir-Rhyne, she worked as an occupational therapist across a range of adult and geriatric settings, including inpatient rehabilitation, assisted living, skilled nursing facilities and memory care. She also maintains a part-time pediatric clinical caseload, providing occupational therapy services to children in home- and community-based settings. Brindle has long been passionate about mental health, and her clinical work with pediatric populations sparked a deeper interest in sensory integration, which she now strives to incorporate into care across all age groups.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active in her church community, working out at fitness studios in Charlotte, reading and scrapbooking.
