    Happy graduation week! If you still need your rain tickets or honor cords, they will be available for you at check-in on Friday (Hickory campus).

    Student check-in is Friday at 4:30 p.m. in Shuford Arena. Guests are asked to be in their seats by 5:30 p.m.

    Any changes to the commencement schedule will be posted here.

Academic Probation & Recovery     

BEAR Central offers workshops and individual coaching for all students who are not in good academic standing in order to help you recover from past academic difficulties, return to good academic standing and achieve academic success. 

The academic recovery program is required during your first semester of probation and includes the following.

  • Developing an academic plan
  • Meeting regularly with an assigned advisor
  • Attending a series of academic success workshops
