Faculty Position: Nursing; Hickory Campus

The School of Nursing at Lenoir-Rhyne University seeks applications for a full-time, nine-month position in Nursing, beginning August 2022. This position requires faculty responsibilities related to both undergraduate and graduate education within the School of Nursing with an emphasis on simulation, inter-professional engagement and clinical.  The position is on the Hickory campus. Candidates who possess a doctoral degree in Nursing or related area by the time of the appointment will begin with rank of Assistant Professor on a tenure-track line. Otherwise, MSN candidates will begin at the rank of Instructor on a term appointment. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for nursing licensure in North Carolina, and meet the North Carolina Board of Nursing requirements to teach. Teaching experience is strongly preferred. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment and capacity for teaching excellence, student mentorship, scholarly and professional engagement, and campus citizenship.
