Meet the Team

by Heidi Schreck

Callie Cope (NURSE) is a sophomore theatre major. In addition to acting, she enjoys sewing costumes, doll clothes, and other clothing. She also enjoys owning and operating her own business, which is being a performing princess.

Chase Fowler (JOHN KEMPE; Sound Designer) is a sophomore theatre major and brother of Theta Xi. He is beyond excited to be a part of a fantastic production with such a talented cast. He would like to thank Liz for allowing him this opportunity, his mom for supporting him through all his shows, his best friends, and his brothers.

Milissia Koncelik (JULIANA / A HAZELNUT) is a senior English major with a theatre minor; this is her seventh L-R production. She is excited and grateful to be working with a close-knit cast who have made this short process all the more enjoyable. She thanks Elisabeth Bokhoven for giving her this opportunity to be a little crazy on stage.

Heather Osterer (Sound Designer) is a theatre major here at L-R. Heather is usually seen with her 10-month old Goldendoodle service dog, "Casey," by her side. Outside of school, Heather enjoys horseback riding, soccer, dance, and singing, while Casey enjoys swimming, chasing the cat, and chewing up shoes she finds around the house. Heather and Casey are both happy to work with this production.

Benjamin Thomas-Reid (FATHER THOMAS) is excited to perform in his first show at Lenoir-Rhyne! He has been most recently seen in Leading Ladies, Hamlet, and Peter and the Starcatcher. Thanks to Liz for telling me about the show and casting me, and always to Matthew for his continued support of a nonstop rehearsal schedule!

Ariona Smith (Assistant Stage Manager) is a sophomore at Lenoir-Rhyne who is double majoring in exercise science and theatre. She is excited to be participating in the first show of the season and is happy to be working with the cast and crew. She is a long time theatre major, coming from an arts school in High Point, and knows that her theatre teacher back home would be happy to see her playing a hand in this great production. She wishes good luck to the cast and crew, and knows that the show will be a hit.

Corey Smith (JACOB / ASMODEUS; Properties) is a senior and he is majoring in theatre. He has played roles such as Mmmbeth in Mmmbeth, Ursula in The Little Mermaid Jr., and the Baker in Into the Woods. He would like to thank everyone for the effort put into this show and he hopes you all enjoy it.

Skylar Smith (Light Board Operator) is a sophomore at LR, and has run lights for several shows prior. They are excited to start off another year by working with the Playmakers on another show.

Taylor Thomas (Properties) is a junior here at Lenoir-Rhyne University, and this was her first time ever assisting in the props department for a show. She is happy to be able to help in any way possible to make this show the best it can be.
