Jungle Jack Hanna

Lenoir-Rhyne University will welcome Jack Hanna to its Hickory campus on Monday, March 27 at 7 p.m. in Shuford Memorial Gymnasium. The famous animal expert and conservationist will share the stage with a variety of his favorite animal ambassadors. The doors for the event will open at 6 p.m. and Hanna will be available for autographs beginning at 6:15 p.m. This is Hanna’s second visit to LRU; over 1,300 guests enjoyed his first appearance in October of 2011.

Recognized as America’s favorite zookeeper, Jack has made countless television appearances on shows such as Good Morning America, The Late Show with David Letterman, Fox News Programs, and CNN News Programs.

Jack took his infectious energy to the airwaves by creating three nationally televised programs. Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures ran for 10 years and is still currently in syndication. Most recently, the Columbus Zoo and Nationwide Insurance have partnered to sponsor the Emmy Award winning Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild and a show on ABC, Jack Hanna’s Wild Countdown.
