28th Annual Hanley Painter/Bear Memorial Golf Tournament

Catawba Springs Course
Proceeds benefit LRU student-athletes

16th Annual PEF/Bears Club Gala
7 pm - 11 pm
Moretz Mills Event Center
Join us for a fundraising event which includes a silent and live auction in support of LRU Athletics.
Tickets for this event are $50 and can be purchased at the door.

Greek Life Reunion
6:30 pm - 9 pm
McCrorie Practice Field behind Moretz Stadium
Food, beverages, and live music. Open to Greek Alumni and Greek students only.

Homecoming Welcome Center & Registration

McCrorie Practice Field Entrance
Stop by the Homecoming Welcome Center and Registration table to sign up for Bears for Life or join the President's Society.
The practice field gate opens at 9 am for tailgating. LRU Tailgating Rules can be found at lrbears.com.

Sports Hall of Fame Breakfast (for members and Inductees)

Sports Hall of Fame Ceremony

PE Monroe Auditorium
Join precious Hall of Fame inductees and celebrate the 2017 honorees in a ceremony recognizing LRU's most prestigious athletes of all time.
This event is free and open to the public.

Homecoming Parade
10 am
Stasavich Place
Watch LRU's traditional Homecoming Parade along Stasavich Place. "Big Sammy" the train will be in the parade, along with the Alumni float, distinguished administrators, and our creative and enthusiastic student organizations. To catch the first ride on the train for the parade, email Cheryl.Abee@lr.edu. The passenger limit is 27 people. We will gather at 9:45 am in the parking lot across from the Quad and The Charge.

Dedication of the 2017 Walk of Honor Bricks
Following the parade, west of the Martin Luther statue.
Nearly 500 bricks are already a part of the Walk of Honor. Join us as we dedicate even more to this growing stretch of loyalty honoring LRU alumni.

Train Rides

Graduate Studies Tailgate
11 am - 1:30 pm
McCrorie Practice Field
If you graduated from one of our graduate programs, or if you are a current graduate student, join us for a pre-game barbecue lunch in your honor.
The practice field gate opens at 9 am for tailgating. LRU Tailgating Rules can be found at lrbears.com.

Annual Alumni Lunch
11:30 am - 1:30 pm
McCrorie Practice Field
Enjoy lunch with fellow Alumni. There will be plenty of activities for the kids including a bounce house. Special seating is provided for Golden Bears.

Homecoming Football Game
2 pm
Moretz Stadium
Our Bears will battle between the bricks as they face Newberry College. It will be a great afternoon for friends and football.
General admission tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.

Sunday, October 8

3rd Annual Homecoming Weekend Worship Service
10:30 am
Grace Chapel
There's no better way to close out the Homecoming Weekend than by honoring Lenoir-Rhyne's heritage of faith. Join us for worship in our beautiful chapel. The music and the service will be led by fellow alumni.
