Pastor Victor Styrsky to speak at Lenoir-Rhyne University

A spiritual and informative presentation, "Why Israel?" will feature Pastor Victor Styrsky, national outreach director and eastern regional coordinator of Christians United For Israel. The event will be held Wednesday, March 20 at 7 p.m. in Belk Centrum on the campus of Lenoir-Rhyne University.

A frequent lecturer, Styrsky will share biblical and historical reasons to stand with Israel and the Jewish people. His presentation will also include an update on the situation in the Middle East.

Styrsky has been a pastor, music director, and pro-Israel activist in Northern California for more than 30 years. He is the author of "Honest to God — The 10 Questions Jews Ask Christians." He is a frequent speaker at American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the Zionist Organization of America, college campuses, synagogues, churches and other pro-Israel organizations across the nation.

The event is free and open to the public, and all people are welcome regardless of religion or denomination.
