Lenoir-Rhyne Equity & Diversity Institute

Strategies for Equitable Leadership, Education and Business Practices

Student in classroom

The Lenoir-Rhyne Equity and Diversity Institute (LREDI) supports, inspires, and equips executives, non-profit leaders, educators, students, social activists and other community members who intend to spark change and cultivate better communities through their professional careers.

LREDI is designed to train equity advocates, in the interest of building communities that are educated, challenged and motivated to non-violently disrupt systems that create and support complicated complex social issues.

The curriculum focuses on equitable strategies and practices that can be applied to the professional fields of business, education, and technology, as well as to general community advocacy.

LREDI classes can be taken as stand-alone courses, or as a suite to yield an Equitable Leadership Certificate. To complete the full certificate, participants must complete four Equitable Foundation Leadership courses and three courses in one of the Concentration Areas (Equitable Education Practices, Equitable Business Practices or Equitable Technology Practices).

All course materials are distributed during class or available online via our online learning environment. These materials are included in the price of tuition.

Participants will be able to:

  • Engage professionals, community members, employers, students and the general public in conversations about culture, equity and inclusion in their respective industries.
  • Create and lead social change efforts that shift culture, advance equity and foster inclusivity through their current positions.

Get started today. Enroll online for any of our courses or concentrations. Pay by credit card, check or request to have your business or organization directly invoiced. Payment must be received in full before the start of each course.
