Director of the Alex Lee Entrepreneurship Center


Lenoir-Rhyne University (LR) welcomes nominations and applications for an innovative and strategic leader to serve as the Director of the Alex Lee Entrepreneurship Center beginning on or before March 15, 2022. The primary purpose of the position is to provide effective leadership, management, and community outreach for the Center for Entrepreneurship. This position will report to the Director for Career Services to ensure that LR students are equipped with appropriate skills to join the workforce after graduation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and implement new plans, policies, and programs that will ensure best practice and provide innovative and strategic opportunities to enhance the center and the university.

Requirements

Minimum requirements for this position include a bachelor’s degree with experience as an entrepreneur. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in a related field; previous experience in higher education; an appreciation of the history and mission of Lenoir-Rhyne University; evidence of a collaborative leadership style that develops a culture of trust among LR employees and colleagues across the university; and demonstrated success in working with diverse populations.
