Meet the Faculty
Dr. Craig Schreiber is an Associate Professor of Management in the Charles M. Snipes School of Business. In addition, he serves as the Co-Director of the Broyhill Institute for Leadership which is a co-curricular program that provides leadership training and experience to students as well as community outreach activities. His focal points of organizational expertise include the following:
- Organizational development and change
- Organizational relations to societal and global issues
- Social networks
- Systems thinking
He received his M.S. in Social and Decision Science and his Ph.D. in Computation, Organizations and Society from Carnegie Mellon University. During his tenure at Carnegie Mellon University he was an NSF IGERT Fellow specializing in interdisciplinary applied research and he also received the Pennsylvania State Space Grant Fellowship.
Dr. Schreiber has conducted research for the Center for Creative Leadership, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, General Motors, Bank of America, Lockheed Martin, Stryker Medical, Martiz, Booz Allen Hamilton, NASA, Office of Naval Research, Army Research Laboratory, and the National Science Foundation.
He is currently the Positive Turbulence Fellow at the Center for Creative Leadership as well as a Salzburg Global Fellow. He has published his research in book chapters and in refereed journals such as the Academy of Management Education, The Leadership Quarterly, Computational and Mathematical Organization Theory, and IEEE: Systems, Man and Cybernetics.
