Melody Laney

Melody Laney supports financial aid operations at Lenoir-Rhyne. Specifically, she helps students with their federal grant applications and work-study applications. She and her husband have been married 23 years and are very active in the marriage ministry at their church. In addition, they love to spend time with their grandsons.

Interesting Fact: I love to pier and surf fish! I also make my weights and jigs with which to fish.

What I Love About LR: In more than 20 years at Lenoir-Rhyne, I love working with students. In addition, I try to put myself in the student’s and parents’ shoes to help them understand the FAFSA and explain the financial aid process on a level that they and their parents can understand.
