Parents Association Volunteer Opportunities

Lenoir-Rhyne parents are very involved in a number of on and off campus activities. Volunteer activities include:

•Membership on the Parents Council (the Association’s governing board)

• Assist with registration on Family Weekend

• Provide baked goods and help greet freshmen and their parents on freshman move-in day.

• Make follow-up phone calls to parents of the freshman class to offer "helpful hints.

• Attend Admissions Office sponsored receptions to help greet prospective students and their parents.

• Meet with new parents and answer questions during Freshman Preview.

• Host send-off parties for local students prior to the start of the Fall Semester.

• Assist with Bear Pause, the Parent Newsletter
