Movie presentation scheduled at LRU as part of Hispanic Heritage Month

In observance of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Office of Multicultural Affairs at Lenoir-Rhyne University will be showing Under the Same Moon on Tuesday, October 13 at 6:00 pm. The movie will be shown in Belk Centrum on the campus of Lenoir-Rhyne.

Under the Same Moon shows the bond of a mother and son after the mother travels thousands of miles to America in search of better opportunity. While the film focuses primarily on the story of one mother and son, it offers a parallel to the many stories of immigrants in our country. The movie is primarily in Spanish with English subtitles.
