As part of the Lenoir-Rhyne University's 2017-18 Concert Series, a special performance – featuring the Music Faculty All-Stars – has become a Lenoir-Rhyne University tradition. The concert is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 24 at 4 p.m. in Grace Chapel.
The concert will feature the harmonious talents of faculty members in the LRU Music Program. The event will include a variety of compositions and styles, from keyboard works to selections for brass, voice, and woodwinds. The concert is presented to thank those for their continued support of the LRU Music Program, and to continue encouragement of students to enhance and share their musical talents.
The performance is free and open to public; no tickets or reservations are required. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m. For more information, visit lr.edu/public-events or contact LRU Professor of Music, John Cheek at email@example.com, or by calling 828.328.7147.
Established in the fall of 2000, the Concert Series at Lenoir-Rhyne University serves the University community and the greater Hickory area by providing opportunities to hear and interact with musical artists. The Concert Series promotes a talented array of artists each season and provides student access to concerts and recitals, artist lectures, and hands-on experience in master class settings.
