Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is a week-long international initiative aimed to inspire and recognize entrepreneurs. It is the largest celebration of those who invent products and create new companies and start-up businesses in addition to those who use their business to create a social change. This year, GEW takes place on November 16th- 22nd with thousands of events and activities planned globally.

Lenoir-Rhyne University’s Center of Commercial and Social Entrepreneurship (CCSE) will be hosting close to thirty events for GEW with various speakers, workshops, roundtable discussions, and presentations. This year’s events will include presentation and participation from faculty in multiple disciplines, international partners, local and regional entrepreneurs, and Lenoir-Rhyne University student business.

Lenoir-Rhyne University CCSE is once again co-sponsoring the Edison Project in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce, the SBTDC, SBA, and CVCC. The Edison Project is a local competition that recognizes the spirit of entrepreneurship in Catawba County held at Catawba Valley Community College on November 16th and kicks off the week of events.

Convo credit is available for all events!
