HICKORY, N.C. – It’s time to take charge of your future! It’s not too late to apply for enrollment in the fall 2014 semester at Lenoir-Rhyne University. Completed undergraduate, graduate, and transfer applications will continue to be accepted through August 26. A completed application includes official transcripts and test scores.
Now, with over 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students, 51 different undergraduate majors, and three campuses in two states, LRU continues to expand. While attendance grows, the student to faculty ratio remains at 13 to 1, with 81 percent of our classes having fewer than 20 students.
At LRU professors share knowledge with students they know by first and last name, and give them opportunities for advantages during a time when employers are clamoring for students with more than just a degree.
LRU competes academically and athletically on a national level. With 22 sports teams, including a national title contending football team, an abundance of sporting events provide entertainment outside the classroom. The campus is also home to 70 plus student organizations, nine Greek organizations, and a robust convocation schedule to expose students to new areas.

New MBA tracks for fall 2014 include: Business Analytics and Information Technology, and Innovation and Change Management. These two tracks join the General, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Global Leadership, Healthcare Administration, and Leadership Development tracks already offered.
Also new for fall 2014 are three fully online programs: the Master of Science in Online Teaching & Instructional Design, the Master of Arts in Leadership, and the Master of Arts in Human Services.
When considering LR for graduate school, the Alumni Advantage program offers graduates who have completed 64 undergraduate credit hours at LRU a 15 percent discount, while those completing 96 undergraduate credit hours and above at LRU will receive a 20 percent discount.
