About Shana: Shana knows that sometimes you don't have to travel far to follow your dreams. She grew up in Newton, N.C., and found her true calling at nearby Lenoir-Rhyne, where she earned a degree in marketing. Now she helps others follow their dreams.

Shana's hobbies include baking, shopping and drumming on Rock Band. In her spare time, she curls up with a good book by Mary Higgins Clark, Danielle Steele or Stephen King. Shana's favorite TV channel is HGTV.

She often tells students, "At L-R, you will be allowed every opportunity to be just who you aspire to be!"
